Australian Citizenship / Registration of Births
Registration of births of children born in Switzerland will be processed by the Australian High Commission in London. However, application forms may be obtained from Geneva.
Please note that:
- once the child has been registered as an Australian citizen, he/she must travel in and out of Australia on an Australian passport.
- the Australian passport will be issued in Geneva.
- documents referring to Births, Marriages, Divorces, Deaths, etc., which are not in English, must be officially translated, or, the international version of the form which is used by the Swiss authorities is also accepted.
