Federal Election
The Federal Election has been announced for Saturday 24 November 2007.
If you are already on the electoral roll * in Australia and you wish to apply for a postal vote in Switzerland, you should complete the Application for a Postal Vote (PVA) and send it to the Consulate as soon as possible, either by fax or by mail to :

Please note the following :
- in section 4 on the application form, if the address where the ballot papers are to be sent, is someone else’s domicile, please also insert their name, otherwise the envelope may not be delivered.
- the ballot papers will be not be available until around the 9 November.
* Any inquiries concerning your elegibility to vote, should be directed to the Australian Electoral Commission.
For those of you who wish to visit the Consulate-General to lodge a Pre-Poll vote, the office will be open from 09h00 - 17h00, Monday to Friday during the period 12 - 23 November. Please note however, that due to the time difference, the office will not be open on Polling Day, Saturday 24 November.
